How It Works
Log In and Select ‘Create Recording’
- Start by launching the Spectacle app on your desktop. Enter your username and password to log in. If you don’t have an account, you may need to sign up first.
- Once logged in, navigate to the main dashboard where you’ll find various options. Look for the ‘Create Recording’ button.
- Clicking ‘Create Recording’ will initiate the recording setup process. This is your first step towards creating a new presentation or recording session.
Enter or Verify Name and Presentation Title
In this step, you’ll be prompted to enter the name of the presenter. There’s also a field to input the title of the presentation. For concierge events these fields are typically pre-populated, so just verify the information. Additional custom fields can also be added. After entering all the details, click next.
Choose a Camera and Audio Source
- Now, you will select the camera source for your recording.
- Similarly, choose the audio source.
- Make sure you look good and click “Continue”.
Choose a Layout
In this step, you will decide the visual layout of your recording. The app offers several preset layouts. Choose a layout that best suits the nature of your presentation. For concierge events these settings can be locked down by the organizer. The presenter uploads their slides or shares their screen before recording begins.
Record!
With everything set up, it’s time to start recording. Hit the ‘Record’ button. A three second countdown will display and then you are live. Deliver your presentation while tabbing through slides or demonstrating using the screen share.
Review Your Recording and Export- It’s That Easy!
- Once you’ve finished recording, stop the session. You’ll then have the option to review your recording.
- Watch the recording to check for any issues like audio clarity, video quality, or any unwanted segments that might need editing.
- Here you can add subtitles in any language to your video and customize how they are styled.
- Finally, export your recording or share it directly from Spectacle with a share link or post it on your favorite social media platform.
